A Secure Access Code (SAC) is an additional security measure used to verify your identity when logging into your account for the first time from a new device. Using your information on file, you will choose whether to receive a text, phone call, or email with a 6-digit code that you will use when logging in. This SAC process is an example of why having updated customer contact information on file is important.

Tips and FAQs Relating to Secure Access Codes (SACs):

Your Secure Access Code will always be delivered by UBU's Alert Phone Number, #86434.

  • The SAC itself will always be a six-digit code found in the body of the text.

Secure Access Codes are valid for 15 minutes.

  • This means you will have 15 minutes to request your code and to enter your code.

What if my information displayed is outdated or incorrect?

  • Contact us at 636-583-2555 and we can help you update your information to login.

What if one piece of information is correct, but the others are incorrect?

  • Select the SAC target that has correct information that you can access to retrieve your code. Then, continue through the login process until you successfully log in to your account. Once there, use the left-hand menu and go to Profile > Security Preferences > Change Secure Access Code (SAC) Information and update your contact information for Secure Access code delivery.

home > link account

UBU's digital banking platform provides a 360-degree view of your finances when utilizing account linking. This feature gives customers the ability to link accounts held at other financial institutions (banks, credit unions, credit card companies, etc.) for "view only" purposes. Linked accounts provide information including up-to-date balances, transaction history, credit limits, next payment dates, and more!

A Few Important Takeaways of Linked Accounts:

  • Account linking is for view-only purposes; this means you cannot conduct any monetary transactions with these accounts in this module
  • Accounts can be linked from institutions where you have online banking credentials; these credentials provide the connection link
  • There may be a delay between information reflected for an account in your UBU profile, and the actual account's details. Always check with the other financial institution directly for the most accurate information
  • United Bank of Union is not responsible for, nor manages, information provided or displayed from external financial institutions

profile > AppleWatch

The UBU digital banking platform offers Apple Watch integration! To utilize this feature, users will need to use their mobile app to enable the Apple Watch connection. The Apple Watch integration gives users a quick view of their account balances with the ability to view recent transactions as well.

If you link external accounts from other institutions using our Link Accounts feature, these will also appear on your iOS watch app.

Note: At this time, Apple is the only company offering a smart watch app integration with our digital banking system. We hope to see Samsung, FitBit, Garmin, and others offer this capability one day in the future, but at this time there is no compatible integration capability.
United Bank of Union does link to peer-to-peer payment applications such as Venmo® or Cash App®. If you are using one of these services, please note that deposit transactions may take up to 3 business days to reflect in your account.
