About Mike

Michael has over 10 years of banking experience and has served as Vice President of Retail Lending with United Bank of Union since 2021. He specializes in consumer lending with a strong focus in residential real estate, including purchase and refinance loans, home improvement financing, home equity lines of credit, bridge and construction loans. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, staying active with a full schedule of activities.

Education

Michael is a graduate of Pacific High School. He has lived in Union for 15+ years and attended East Central College. Michael has continued his professional development through the Missouri Bankers Association, graduating from both the School of Bank Management and the School of Advanced Lending, further strengthening his expertise in banking and finance.

Community Involvement

Michael is actively involved in the community through both his role at UBU and personal commitments. He volunteers, often alongside his family, at bank-sponsored events such as Small Business Christmas and Teacher Appreciation Week. He serves on the Union Area Chamber of Commerce Board, acts as Treasurer for the Union Jr. Wildcats Football Association, and coaches youth baseball and basketball. He also serves as Treasurer for Remember December, a local non-profit that provides scholarships to every high school in Franklin County.
