About Tom

Tom has served on United Bank of Union's Board of Directors since 2019 and joined the bank as Chief Credit Officer in 2021. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in community banking, with a strong focus on commercial credit and commercial lending. He values the relationship-driven nature of community banking, where personal connections extend beyond the numbers. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and cheering them on in just about every sport imaginable. 

Education

In 2007, Tom graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Banking. In 2017, he graduated from Central Methodist University with a Bachelor in Accountancy.

Community Involvement

Tom is invested in giving back to the community through service and leadership. He contributes his financial expertise on the East Central College Foundation Board and Finance Committee, helping ensure resources are managed to support students and educational opportunities. He is also an active member of the Union Rotary Club and a parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Washington, MO. A strong supporter of youth activities, Tom previously served as the treasurer of the St. Francis Borgia High School Athletic Association and now enjoys coaching his children in baseball and soccer, supporting them as they grow both on the field and beyond.
